The President's NATO Schedule

White House guidance

The White House released guidance on President Barack Obama's schedule around the NATO Summit. 

Below is the note in-full:

 
On Saturday, the President will host G8 meetings at Camp David throughout the day.  
 
In the morning, the President will host the first working session with G8 Leaders. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.
 
Later in the morning, the President will take a family photo with G8 Leaders. There will be pool coverage of the photo.
 
Later, the President will host the second working session with G8 Leaders. This working session is closed press.
 
In the afternoon, the President will host a working lunch on food security. There will be a pool spray at the top of the working lunch.
 
Later in the afternoon, the President will host the third working session with G8 Leaders. This working session is closed press.
 
Next, the President will host the fourth working session with G8 Leaders. This working session is closed press.
 
Afterwards, the President will host the fifth working session with G8 Leaders. This working session is closed press.
 
In the evening, the President will deliver a statement. There will be pool coverage of the President’s remarks.
 
At night, the President will depart Camp David en route Chicago, Illinois. The First Lady will travel with the President from Joint Base Andrews to Chicago. The arrival at Chicago O’Hare International Airport is open press.
 
The President will remain overnight in Chicago.
 
On Sunday morning, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan at McCormick Place in Chicago. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the meeting.
 
In the afternoon, the President will meet with NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen at McCormick Place. There will be a pool spray at the top of the meeting.
 
Later in the afternoon, the President will take part in the official greeting of the North Atlantic Council Leaders. This greeting at McCormick Place is pooled press.
 
Next, the President will participate in the opening session of the North Atlantic Council at McCormick Place. There will be pool coverage at the top of this session.
 
In the evening, the President will take a NATO family photo with leaders at Soldier Field. This photo is pooled press.
 
Following the family photo, the President will attend a NATO working dinner at Soldier Field. This dinner is closed press.
 
The President will remain overnight in Chicago.

Schedule for the Week of May 21, 2012
 
On Monday, the President will attend meetings at the NATO Summit in Chicago, Illinois. Later in the day, the President will travel to Joplin, Missouri, where he will deliver the commencement address at Joplin High School. The President will return to Washington, DC, in the evening. 
 
On Tuesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.
 
On Wednesday, the President will travel to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to deliver the commencement address at the Air Force Academy. The President will then travel to Denver, Colorado for a campaign event. In the evening, the President will travel to California for campaign events in Atherton and Redwood City. The President will spend the night in San Jose, California.
 
On Thursday, the President will attend a campaign event in Palo Alto, California. The President will then travel to the Newton, Iowa, area to deliver remarks on the economy at an official event. The President will continue to push Congress to act on a “To Do List” he laid out with initiatives that have bipartisan support and will create jobs and help restore middle class security. Later, the President will attend a campaign event in Des Moines, Iowa, before returning to Washington, DC, in the evening. 
 
On Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.
