Police Say Tennessee Man Accused of Killing Wife Captured; Daughter Located

A man from Tennessee who is a suspect in the killing of his wife and whose 2-year-old daughter had been missing was found with the little girl in Ohio, police said.

Tyler Ward Enix was found by police Thursday morning about 400 miles north of Knoxville, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said. The agency added that the 36-year-old’s daughter was “safe.”

"A citizen had heard the AMBER Alert on the radio and realized he was behind the vehicle referenced in the alert," authorities said in a news release. "The citizen called 911 and deputies with the Morrow County Sheriff's Office responded and initiated a traffic stop.

Enix’s wife Kimberly was found dead in her Knoxville apartment Wednesday, according to investigators. Enix faces a first-degree murder charge.

Enix has been arrested for domestic assault, false imprisonment and aggravated assault, records show.

Before he was apprehended, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation added Enix to the state's Top Ten Most Wanted list.
