A teen was critically wounded after he was shot in the head early Sunday in a Northwest Side Craigin neighborhood.

The 17-year-old was in an apartment in the 2200 block North Lawler Avenue when someone started shooting from outside around 3:05 a.m., police said.  He was struck in the head and taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
