It appears the "Twilight" phenomenon can sometimes drive people to do crazy things.
A teen from Aurora claims she crashed her car because her boyfriend did not take her to see the latest "Twilight" movie, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Reports indicate 18-year-old Olivia Ornelas was arrested on Saturday after she crashed her car near route 71 and East High Point around midnight.
Police said she was "extremely intoxicated" and admitted to officers she was upset because her boyfriend did not take her to see the movie "Twilight" like they were supposed to, according to the police report.
Ornelas was charged with drinking under the influence and drinking under age, but was released on a $300 bond.
