Taj Gibson Returns From Ankle Injury For Bulls

Bulls reserve forward Taj Gibson is active against the Toronto Raptors after missing the previous 10 games with a sprained left ankle.

Gibson last played Feb. 27, when he was injured against Minnesota. Before getting hurt, Gibson was averaging 10.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

Chicago coach Tom Thibodeau says Gibson has looked fine in practice, and the concern was how he'd respond afterward. Gibson went through pregame warmups before Friday night's game against the Raptors, who were a half-game ahead of the Bulls for third place in the Eastern Conference.

Chicago is still without Jimmy Butler (left elbow) and Derrick Rose (right knee).
