Cell Phone Store Robbed Twice By Same Man

A T-Mobile store is robbed twice by the same man within a few weeks

Police continue to search for a man who committed two armed robberies at the same T-Mobile store on the Far South Side West Pullman neighborhood.

On two different occasions, a man described as a 6-foot black man, 25-35 with medium light complexion, entered the store on the 1600 block of West 119th Street. Both times, he was said to have been dressed in all black and armed with a hand gun, according to an alert from Margan Park District Police.

Tremell Warren was one of the employees at the store during the first robbery. He said the man came in early and locked the door before forcing everyone to the back of the store.

He then ordered Tremell to open the safe, took a large amount of cash, and then asked for Tremell's ID before leaving.

Additional security guards were at the store for a couple weeks after the first robbery. The second robbery happened about two weeks after the security guards were no longer there, said Tremell.

Tremell was not there during the second robbery.

Police ask that residents or business owners who see any suspicious people or activity, call 911.
