Police at the University of Illinois have arrested two suspects in an armed robbery on campus.
The two suspects in custody have been identified as Davon Hart, 20, and Philip Knee, 28, both of Champaign.
The UI police department says three men approached a man walking near the Lincoln Avenue Residence Hall around 10:30 p.m. Friday and demanded his property.
Police say one of the men had a handgun.
The (Champaign) News-Gazette reports that the two suspects in custody have been preliminarily charged with armed robbery. Police are still searching for the third suspect.
