Lake County authorities released photos of a person of interest wanted in connection with the attempted assault of a woman on the North Shore Bike Path and Des Plaines River Trail Sunday.

Police say a man tried to assault a woman near a river underpass along Route 176 in Libertyville.

Surveillance videos from businesses near the scene captured pictures of the potential suspect and his vehicle.

The man is described as a white, dark-haired male, between 22-30 years old.

He was seen driving a 1995-2000 white, four-door Chevy S10 Blazer with a missing a full-size tire on the front right passenger side. The rear right passenger tail light also appears to be broken.
