Wheaton police are investigating fake Instagram accounts showcasing inappropriate photos of Edison Middle School students and staff.
According to The Daily Herald, the accounts were allegedly set up by students, who could be charged as juveniles with "harassment with an electronic communication."
The students reportedly manipulated photos to show the subjects in situations that were not true.
A letter was sent home to parents and the students who created the accounts have been identified.
