Cook County Board President Todd Stroger lashed out at Commissioner Tony Peraica during a meeting on the sales tax today, telling Peraica "you don't know when to shut up."

During the heated vote on the half-penny rollback -- which passed -- Peraica and Daley joined in heated personal attacks back and forth.

At one point, Peraica made an off-hand comment about how the county's so poorly managed, we may as well be living in Russia. To illustrate his point, Peraica said John Daley's nephew -- the mayor's son, Patrick -- had moved to Russia.

John Daley, infuriated, responded with "bullshit."

Stroger then cut off Peraica's microphone, saying "you don't know when to shut up."

Daley followed up with "Tony, I will remember what you said."
