“Twilight: Eclipse” Stars Hit Chicago

Film's stars to sign autographs, take pictures

As Twi-hards around the world gear up for the June 30 premiere of “Eclipse,”  some of the movie’s stars will be in Chicago and its suburbs to meet and greet vampire-loving locals.

On Monday, 200 pre-selected BP customers will have a chance to meet "Twilight" cast members BooBoo Stewart, who plays Seth Clearwater, and Tinsel Korey, who portrays werewolf Emily, at the Nordstrom Oakbrook Center at 3 p.m.

The appearance will supplement a new line of Twilight-inspired clothing, which arrived at Nordstrom's in June.

Justin Chon, who plays high school student Eric Yorkie, and Gil Birmingham, Jacob’s father Billy Black, arrived in Chicago Monday to prepare for  appearances at the Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge June 29 and 30.

Preceding the midnight screening of the newest “Twilight” installment, Chon and Birmingham will appear for autograph, photo and discussion sessions. Birmingham will also perform in concert.

Twilighters can purchase a ticket for autographs and photo-ops for $30, and a $10 general admission ticket for the concert and a question-and-answer session. Tickets to the film’s premiere are $7 and can be purchased at the Pickwick box-office.

“The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is the third movie based on Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling books.
