A southwest suburban high school was evacuated Monday afternoon due to “dangerous conditions” in the building, officials said.
Argo Community High School in Summit was evacuated due to a gas leak, according to an alert on the school’s website.
Students were dismissed early and officials said they “do not expect students to have access to the building for at least the next several hours.”
“When the building has been cleared and students are able to gain access to their belongings inside the building, an all call will be made and social media will be updated,” the school's website read.
