A bus accident on the city's South Side Tuesday sent multiple people to the hospital, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The accident occurred at 67th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue and resulted in 12 people with minor injuries transported to the hospital, the fire department tweeted about 4:52 p.m.
Five people refused medical treatment at the scene.
In Sky5 footage, individuals could be seen being removed from the bus on gurneys and in wheelchairs.
