Six Flags Great America Places Bet With Six Flags St. Louis Ahead of Cubs-Cardinals Series

The Chicago Cubs are set to face the St. Louis Cardinals in the National League Division Series and the results could mean a lot for fans of Six Flags Great America.

The amusement park has placed a bet with Six Flags St. Louis, offering to change the name of their popular Raging Bull ride if the Cubs lose.

That’s right, the Raging Bull would be renamed the Raging Cardinals for the remainder of Fright Fest if the Cubs lose and in return, St. Louis has agreed to rename the American Thunder coaster the Cubs Thunder if the Cardinals lose.

Also part of the wager was Chicago deep dish pizza and Old Style beer from Six Flags Great America and Maull’s BBQ sauce with pork steaks and some famous St. Louis toasted ravioli from Six Flags St. Louis.

Six Flags Great America said it will show the games at the ballpark this weekend in the sports bar JB’s Barbeque.

The Cubs take on the Cardinals in Game 1 of the series Friday and Game 2 on Saturday.
