Shot Fired After Altercation With Snow Plow Driver on West Side: Police

The incident occured in the 4500 block of West Lake Street in the city’s West Garfield Park neighborhood

Police are investigating a report of a shot fired after a Chicago snow plow driver got into an altercation with another driver.

Just before 2:30 p.m. Sunday, the snow plow driver was traveling in the 4500 block of West Lake Street in the city’s West Garfield Park neighborhood when he got into some kind of confrontation with a man in a dark colored SUV, according to police.

The snow plow driver told police he heard a gunshot and the driver of the SUV fled in an unknown direction. No one was injured, according to police.

A description of the driver of the SUV, who is believed to be in his twenties, was not available.
