Two people were shot in west suburban Bloomingdale Friday evening, police said.
Police responded to the 300 block of Norton Lane for a call of shots fired around 5:05 p.m.
There were two victims in the shooting and though their condition wasn’t immediately clear, a coroner has been called, police confirmed.
Police said that while there is an active investigation and a large police presence, it is an isolated crime scene that presents no danger to other residents.
No other details have been released.
