Man Shot Outside West Mart Center

A man suffered a graze wound on a shipping dock across the street from the Merchandise Mart, police said.

Chicago Police said the shooting occurred at about 6 a.m. outside the Apparel Center on the 300 block of North Orleans at West Mart Center.

The condition of the victim is not known, but police confirmed he sustained a graze wound to the head. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The motive for the shooting was not clear.
