Shedd Offers Week of Free General Admission to Illinois Residents

    Shedd Aquarium helps Illinois residents beat the heat with a week of free general admission.

    Through Friday the Shedd offers state residents free general admission to original galleries and discounted admission to other exhibits.

    Shedd also extended its hours during the free general admission week. The aquarium is open this week from 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.

    Along with free admission Shedd is offering discounted passes for $18.95 for adults and $11.95 for children ages 3-11.
