Chicago Police are investigating a deadly shooting on Chicago's northwest side.
A 51-year-old man was shot in the back around 9:40 p.m. Thursday outside the Save-A-Lot grocery store in the 5500 block of West North Avenue in the North Austin neighborhood.
The victim was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner is not releasing his name.
