Police have located a 9-year-old girl who had not returned to her Hermosa neighborhood home from school Thursday afternoon on the Northwest Side.
Emily Rivera, a student at William Nixon Elementary School at 2121 N. Keller Ave., was last seen about 12:30 p.m. walking from school toward her home in the 2300 block of North Kenneth Avenue, police said in a missing persons alert.
She had been located as of 5:45 p.m. Thursday, police said.
