Two bank tellers suffered minor injuries Thursday after a Jeep Grand Cherokee crashed into the front of Harris Bank in Rolling Meadows.
As a woman pulled into a parking space around 3:07 p.m. in front of the bank at 1951 Plum Grove Road, her foot slipped on the gas, said Sgt. Tom Gadomski.
The Jeep was propelled into the bank, through the front wall and into the teller stations.
The employees were transported to a local hospital for minor injuries and were later released. The driver was not injured, and no citations were given.
The bank remains closed until further notice.
