A 60-year-old man was found frozen in his Rogers Park home Tuesday.
The apartment on the 2000 block of West Brichwood Avenue was unheated, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The man who officials identified as Rowland Draper was pronounced dead this morning at 1:45 a.m at the Stein Institute, a spokeswomen for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office told the Tribune.
The cause of death has not yet been revealed and examiners are awaiting autopsy reports.
