The humans aren't the only ones excited to go to the beach this summer.
Alderman Harry Osterman (48th) sent an email to his Edgewater-area constituents this week, urging them to be careful after reports of coyote sightings along the lakefront. The coyote was spotted at Rosemont Avenue and Berger Park, according to the Loyola Student Dispatch.
A Loyola University student managed to get a photo of one of the coyotes on the beach.
Animal Control has been notified of the situation, according to Osterman.
