A fire in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood Saturday morning led one person to leap out of a second story window.
The fire began at the three-story home in the 2100 block of South Millard Avenue just before 4 a.m., officials said.
At least one person jumped from the building’s second story window and fire fighters rescued a 60-year-old man from the burning building.
One man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition and a woman was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital. One other person refused medical treatment, according to fire officials.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
