Michelle Obama Back in Chicago After DNC Speech

The First Lady had given DNC speech on family 'friend' Hillary Clinton Monday

First Lady Michelle Obama is back in Chicago Wednesday following her first public endorsement of Hillary Clinton as the Democratic presidential nominee at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, sources say.

"I am here tonight because in this election, there is only one person who I trust with that responsibility, only one person who I believe is truly qualified to be President of the United States, and that is our friend, Hillary Clinton," Obama said during her speech Monday.

Outside the Obama family home in Kenwood, increased police activity was visible Tuesday.

It was not immediately known why Obama was back in Chicago, but in August of 2014, Malia Obama attendeed Lollapalooza to see Chance the Rapper, according to other attendees, the Chicago Tribune reported at the time.
