Report on Pagano Bonus Due Friday

Memorial service took place Wednesday

As family members of Metra CEO Phil Pagano say goodbye, the investigator looking into his alleged bogus bonus prepares to deliver his report on potential financial misdeeds.

Pagano committed suicide last week just before the Metra executive board was scheduled to hear the report from James Sotos, who was hired to look into a suspect $56,000 bonus, according to the Sun-Times.

His investigation expanded from just looking into the bonus to potentially larger fraud issues.

The board will hear the results of the investigation Friday.

A visitation for Pagano was held Tuesday at the Davenport Family Funeral Home in Crystal Lake, and a memorial was held today.
