Prosecutors: Woman Ran Over Ex-Boyfriend's New Girlfriend

A 20-year-old woman was held on bail Sunday after she reportedly ran over her ex-boyfriend’s new girlfriend Thursday in Park Forest, officials said.

Alexius Keys was ordered held in lieu of $750,000 bail at a bond hearing Sunday after being charged with attempted murder, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Police reportedly responded to the 400 block of Rutledge Street in Park Forest around 6 p.m. Thursday after Keys rear-ended a vehicle with her former boyfriend and his new girlfriend inside.

She then allegedly drove onto the grass near the road and hit her ex-boyfriend’s girlfriend, running her over and dragging her under the car, the Tribune reported.

The woman reportedly suffered a broken arm, back fractures, a bruised lung, rib fractures and had a layer of skin scraped from her lower back and buttocks.
