A pregnant woman is causing a stir after she was asked to leave a bar in the northwest suburbs.
Chicago native Michelle Lee, 29, told the Chicago Tribune that a bouncer at The Coach House near Roselle told her Wednesday night that the bar could not be held responsible if she was hurt on the premises.
Lee is eight months pregnant. She and a friend were drinking water, she told the Tribune.
Civil rights experts told the Tribune that what happened to Lee might qualify as unlawful discrimination.
Lee said she is considering taking legal action.
