According to a new poll, Democrat Hillary Clinton holds a double-digit lead over Republican Donald Trump in Illinois.

The poll administered by the Illinois Observer on June 7 surveyed 732 likely voters, and shows Clinton leading Trump by 19 points. Clinton received 48.3 percent of the vote, Trump received 29.5 percent of the vote and Libertarian Gary Johnson received 6.1 percent of the vote. 16 percent of voters remained undecided.

According to the poll, Clinton has a 46.2 favorable rating and a 45.6 percent unfavorable rating. 8.23 percent of voters remained undecided on the former Secretary of State.

In comparison, Trump has a 25.5 percent favorable rating and a 64.4 percent unfavorable rating. 9.8 percent of respondents remained undecided about the billionaire.

Trump has received blowback in recent week for statements he made about the heritage of a Hispanic judge presiding over civil fraud lawsuits against his beleaguered Trump University.

As a result, Illinois Sen. Mark Kirk unendorsed Trump earlier this month.
