    Police are hoping surveillance footage of a "person of interest" suspected in a string of Long Beach, Indiana burglaries will help identify the suspect.

    Police are searching for a “person of interest” who is suspected in several burglaries in Long Beach, Indiana.

    The burglaries occurred between the hours of 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, police said.

    It was not clear how many homes were targeted and police did not give exact addresses.

    In one of the burglaries, police said a fire was set.

    Surveillance video at one location captured the suspect on camera.

    The footage shows the barefoot suspect wearing a long-sleeve shirt and shorts. At one point he also has on a hooded sweatshirt and draw string backpack.
