Police are warning residents of the Chicago Lawn neighborhood after two men are reportedly stealing purses from women, police said.

Two men approach female victims from behind and take their purses by means of physical force, according to a community alert issued Sunday 

The most recent incident occured last Wednesday around 8:40 p.m. in the 4200 block of West 50th Street.

The men are described as two white Hispanic males, 16-30 years of age, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-7, the alert said.
