A missing Chicago firefighter has been found.

Herbert "Bubba" Williams was last seen on Saturday in the 100 block of East 73rd Street in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side. He said he was going out to run errands but didn't return as expected, according to a community alert issued by police.

Williams showed up again Sunday night, but authorities didn't say how or where he was located.

Monday marked the South Side firefighter’s 42nd birthday, police said.

Williams was last seen wearing a bright orange shirt, navy blue and orange jogging pants and a blue Chicago Fire Department baseball cap, the alert said.

He was described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is around 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds, police said.
