Police Search for Missing 9-Year-Old

Nine-year-old John Lindsey got into an argument with his sister and stormed off on Saturday. He hasn't been seen since.

Police are looking for a 9-year-old boy who went missing Saturday after getting into an argument with his teen sister on the South Side.

John Lindsey was last seen in the 7600 block of South Essex Avenue on Saturday, according to a release from Calumet Area detectives.

John, who has gone missing in the past, got into an argument with his 13-year-old sister and stormed off, police said.

He is known to frequent the 8000 block of South Saginaw and the 2600 block of East 78th Street.

The boy was last seen wearing a beige, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black boots. He is a black male, 4-foot-6 and 85 to 90 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion.
