    An 18-year-old man is hospitalized in serious condition this morning after someone shot him in the head while he was inside a White Castle restaurant on the South Side.

    Chicago police say the shooting occurred at about 12:30 a.m. at the White Castle located on the 6600 block of S. Halsted Street.

    Early reports indicate a shooter approached the restaurant, opened the door, and opened fire striking the victim in the head.

    As of this morning, no one is in custody. Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
