Man Throws Dog at Sister

No animal cruelty charges

Pit bulls can sometimes be dangerous animals. It seems they can be dangerous projectiles as well.

Rey Jaquez, 47, was charged with battery after throwing a pit bull at his sister on Monday, reports the Sun-Times.

The two siblings, who live together in Aurora, were in an argument when Jaquez picked up the dog and hurled it at the woman, said police.

The dog bit the sister's ankle when it landed on her, police told the Sun-Times.

We're not sure who had it worse: the bit sister or the thrown dog.

Jaquez was charged with two counts of domestic battery but not animal cruelty.

Meanwhile, the woman was treated and released at a nearby hospital, according to the Sun-Times.

Man, the fur really flew between those two!
