Police are looking for a man they believe is connected to a criminal sexual assault in Calumet

Several criminal sexual assaults in Calumet could be linked to one man, police say.

Since October, the assaults have been reported in the area bounded to the north by 115th Street; to the south by the Little Calumet River; to the west by Ashland Avenue and to the east by Normal Avenue.

Police say the attacks look alike. They occurred between 5:45 p.m. and 12:01 a.m.

The most recent attack was reported in February.

According to reports, an unknown African-American man approached victims from behind and held them at gunpoint. He reportedly forced them into an isolated area, where the assault took place.

The suspect is described as 5'10 and 220 pounds with a light complexion.

He was reportedly wearing a black mask, dark jeans and light brown Timberland boots.
