Chicago Police warn residents in the Beverly neighborhood to be on the lookout.

Burglars are striking in the middle of the night, hitting homes for electronics, small valuables and money.

Three burglaries took place earlier this week between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. while residents were sleeping.

The homes are located in the 8800 block of South Hamilton Avenue, the 8900 block of South Leavitt Street and the 9000 block of South Hoyne Avenue.

Police say the suspect or suspects got in through a first-floor window or sunroom.

They remind residents to make sure all doors and windows are locked and be aware of any suspicious behavior in the area.

If you know anything about the recent burglaries, you're asked to call 911 or the Calumet Area Detective Division at 312-747-8273.
