Police in Minnesota arrested a woman on suspicion of driving while intoxicated who reportedly said she was on the way to a jail to pick up her sister who was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
Erica Marie Stang, of Sartell, was arrested Sunday by the Sartell Police Department around 1:59 a.m., the St. Cloud Times reported.
While police were talking to Stang, the 32-year-old said she was driving to Stearns County Jail to pick up her sister, who was also earlier arrested on suspicion of DWI, according to the report.
She was taken to Stearns County Jail faces 2nd Degree DWI charges, according to the jail’s website.
Her bail was set at $12,000 and her vehicle has been seized for forfeiture, according to the St. Cloud Times.
Stang's attorney information wasn't immediately available.
