Police Arrest West Side Murder Suspect

Chicago Police arrested a man suspected in a home invasion on the West Side.  

Thomas Moorer, 39, allegedly broke into an apartment on the 7000 block of W Grand Avenue, fired multiple gunshots and killed the victim inside on August 28, 2010

Moorer is charged with first degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and attempted first degree murder.

He is scheduled to appear in court on August 30, 2010.
