Perez Hilton thinks Chicago's own Ethan Boroian is a rising star.
Chalk up another loss for Chicago.
After being rejected by the International Olympic Committee for the 2016 Games, local crooner Ethan Boroian was kicked out of X-Factor, Simon Cowell’s reality-TV music contest, on Sunday.
And Boroian just happens to be a favorite of Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton.
Perez criticized host Cheryl Cole for letting go of “the dreamy contestant from Chicago who is now living and studying in England and melted hearts at home with stirring rendition of Kings of Leon’s Use Somebody.”
Boroian caught Hilton’s attention after the show’s auditions in September.
“Less talented people have made it through on American Idol – and won!,” the blogger wrote.
“Dear Ethan, please contact us,” Perez wrote.
In the meantime, Boroian let his fans know through his Twitter account (@ethanboroian) that a few gigs throughout the U.K. have been lined up now that he is free.
