Chris Medina and the outed "American Idol" contestant's fiancé, Juliana Ramos, were handed keys to a new van Wednesday afternoon.

"Thank you doesn't cut it," Medina said.

The story Medina told on "American Idol" about Ramos being in a wheelchair since a 2009 car accident prompted BraunAbility and MobilityWorks to donate a customized Dodge Grand Caravan to Ramos' family.

Medina didn't make the final "Idol" cut, but he and Ramos are still winners.

The van, worth $45,000, has an automated ramp and other wheelchair-friendly features to make Ramos' life easier.
