One Dead in West Side Motorcycle Crash

Dallas police are going to crack down on criminals this summer.

An unidentified 32-year-old man has been killed after his motorcycle collided with a sports utility vehicle early Saturday morning.

The motorcyclist hit the back of the Chevrolet Trailblazer at 1:05 a.m. near the 1400 block of North Cicero Avenue, according to a Grand Central District police lieutenant.

The motorcyclist bounced off the SUV and slid into oncoming traffic before bumping into a third vehicle.

The Cook County medical examiner's office pronounced the man dead at 3:16 am but did not immediately release his identity pending notification of family members.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Major Accident Investigation Unit.
