In case you didn't know, hunting season in Illinois wrapped up this week.
Hunters took home nearly 182,000 deer this season. And so you know, that's about double the number of people that live in Waukegan, Ill.
The total tally for the season, which ended this week, is up about 700 deer from last season, the Chicago Tribune reports. Firearm hunters harvested more than half of the deer, while archery hunters took a smaller number.
The number still can't beat the state record, set at 201,300 deer in 2005 and 2006, according to the Tribune.
