An off-duty Chicago police officer was injured in a crash in Englewood Saturday morning caused by a driver who failed to stop at a stop light.
At about 5:45 a.m., a car blew through a stop light at 55th and Wells Street and T-boned the off-duty officer's Jeep, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.
The driver stayed on the scene following the incident, police said.
The injured officer was transported to Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in good condition, according to police.
