President Barack Obama returns to Chicago with his family the day before White House adviser Valerie Jarrett's daughter gets married.
Laura Jarrett weds on Saturday, and though the Obamas' attendance isn't confirmed, a White House official told the Chicago Tribune there are no public events on the president's weekend schedule.
The president, First Lady Michelle Obama and their two children are expected to arrive Friday.
Obama returned home two weekends ago for a busy fundraising schedule and spent part of Saturday lounging around his Hyde Park home.
During his day off he visited with his friend Martin Nesbitt before taking a stroll with Jarrett.
Laura Jarrett is marrying Tony Balkissoon, both Harvard Law School graduates.
