President Barack Obama picked Chicago to celebrate his big 5-0, complete with a b-day party at Aragon Ballroom.

Obama returns to his hometown Aug. 3 to mark the occasion, according to the Sun-Times' Lynn Sweet. The "Birthday Concert" fundraiser will include celeb performances and a dinner with the president for the highest donors.

Tickets range from $50 per person for the "limited" concert to $38,500 per couple for a souvenir photo and more.

No word yet on who will perform, but Jennifer Hudson is rumored to be on the docket.

Obama's birthday is Aug. 4. Money raised at the fundraiser benefits Obama's re-election campaign and the Democratic Committee Fund.
