There is no clear end in sight for Chicago's wintery rollercoaster.

Some areas of the city are expected to see snow flurries throughout Saturday, a preview of the continued snowy weather projected to hit the area within the next few days.

NBC Chicago's Cheryl Scott projects an unpleasant mix of snow and rain showers to hit the city Monday morning and continue through the evening. 

This storm could cause sleet and freezing rain for commuters.
