A privately-owned helicopter with two individuals aboard crashed Monday at the Schaumburg Airport. No injuries have been reported, according to police.

The helicopter was only a few feet in the air when the tail rotor hit the ground on a taxiway, according to the Daily Herald. Schaumburg police and fire crews were called to 905 W. Irving Park Road at 5:44 PM where they found no fire or fuel leaks.

The accident is under investigation by the Illinois State Police. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified, police said.
