It appears the excitement over last week's local "So You Think You Can Strip" competition did not result in a kinder, gentler attitude toward the dancing girls.

At least not on the Far South Side where a fully nude strip club opened its doors Friday night under a cloud of heavy opposition from some of its neighbors.

Several area ministers and Ninth Ward Alderman Anthony Beale did not want the gentleman's club, called The Factory, to open saying it was a bad example for area youth.

Several members of a church group were outside the club Friday voicing their displeasure.

The owners say they chose the location at 12050 S. Doty Ave. because it's located in an isolated semi-industrial area. However, the club can clearly be seen from Interstate 94.

We're pretty sure whatever you can see on the inside doesn't leave much to the imagination.
