More than 200 flights were canceled at O'Hare International Airport Monday and delays were averaging 30 minutes, the airport said.
A total of about 248 flights have been cancelled as of 9:30 p.m. Monday.
The airport's Twitter account posted a message saying the cancelations and delays were due to rain showers.
O'Hare said travelers should check with their airline for flight status.
